Teshuvah on Yom Kippur – Jonah’s Return
Bible Text: JOnah 3:14, Jonah 3:5-9, 1 Corinthians 6-9 | Speaker: Rabbi Barney Kasdan | Series: relationship with God | God keeps calling to Jonah, the same calling, but finally, Jonah listens and obeys. God is gracious and about second chances. Even Nineveh was able to repent too. It’s a lesson that anyone can change, create a new relationship with God, and create new attitudes. Much like Yom Kippur, Teshuvah or returning to God is about new opportunities.
